Digital Cameras are probably in most everyone's home and business now. The quality of images and the ease of use has created a new problem; how to manage and safely store them!
There are two (of many) Internet sites that can help you safely store them and a variety of tools to help manage them. Picasa is a great tool for managing and provides a way to store them on the Internet.
Flickr is also an Internet site that you can use to store your pictures.

Protecting your digital photos can be accomplished in several ways. Using flickr or Picasa to store them on the Internet is probably the best solution. If you have a lot of digital photos, uploading them can be impossible or too expensive. Your choices for safe storage would be to burn them onto a CD or DVD. Another solution would be to purchase additional hard disk for storage. Prices for large disks are now $150 for a terabyte (1,000 gigabytes). Enough capacity to store hundreds of thousands of digital photos. It would take more than 200 DVDs to store the same number of photos.
